Ben Maudsley is Managing Director for Exponential across APAC and South Africa where he has overall regional responsibility for the performance and operations of Exponential.
Ben joined Exponential in 2010 as regional sales director and was instrumental in establishing key relationships and partners soon after the launch of Exponential’s activities in Australia. He was promoted to commercial director, before being appointed country manager for Australia in 2012. He assumed responsibility for New Zealand and South Africa in 2013 before being promoted to managing director APAC & South Africa in July 2014.
Ben has been a member of the IAB Brand Safety Council since 2014 and in 2015 was named on the Ad Tech Advisory Board, which aims to identify and address critical issues in advertising technology innovation, such as click fraud and ad viewability.
Prior to joining Exponential, Ben spent over six years at MindShare, most recently as associate partner. This in-depth agency side experience and knowledge was leveraged by Ben in setting up the sales team and strategy across Exponential’s business. Ben was previously an executive at Starcom Worldwide. He began his career at Blue Digital Media in 2000.
